The GustyAir Pro replacement brushes come in a pack of 2.  The carbon brushes are designed to work only with GustyAir Force Dryer Ametek motors.  They are made of a stronger carbon composite allowing for fewer brush changes and better dryer performance. Brushes pass electricity to the motor. Made of carbon, brushes wear down over time.

Dryer brushes average 200 to 500 hours depending on factors such as the model, the speeds you use, and how often the dryer is turned on and off.
