The PlexiDor French Door Dog Door insert is easily installed and seamlessly replaces the glass panel in your current exterior glass house door. Turning your glass patio door into a pet accessible door is easy with the one-piece glass door insert from PlexiDor. This prefabricated product is designed to replace the glass in your glass house door. The one-piece replacement glass, with frame, includes a high quality factory installed PlexiDor Performance Dog Door built-in. Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery.
It is designed for use in standard 80 inch and 96 inch single panel clear glass or Low-E glass patio doors. Low-E glass has a slight green tint to it and is safety tempered. It reduces the infrared and ultraviolet light coming through without minimizing the light entering your home.
All sizes are available to fit most standard French, full light and single light glass patio doors. PlexiDor Dog Doors are available in small (SM), medium (MD), large (LG) and extra-large (XL) and will accommodate every dog breed worldwide. See the size chart to select the appropriate pet door size for your dog.
Your replacement French door dog door includes the insert, new glazing putty and easy to read instructions. Just replace the glass in your current door and your dog has easy access to the outdoors. The installation can usually be completed within 2 hours. The original glass can be stored in your garage or shed.
The replacement frame and glass are warrantied for five (5) years. The PlexiDor Dog Door comes with a 10-year warranty. You’ll love how beautiful this product looks in your home. The dog door and glass frame are available in two color options, white and bronze, to coordinate with your décor.

What are the differences between a vinyl flap door and a PlexiDor Performance Pet Door?
Vinyl flap doors (“mud flaps”) require replacement of the flap when they wear out, sometimes once or twice a year. The flap may turn yellow, dry out or crack and eventually fall apart. Some dogs will chew the flap. Vinyl replacement flaps cost anywhere from $10 to $100 depending on the size and manufacturer. Most flap doors use magnets to attach the flap to the plastic frame. If the flap shrinks from UV sunlight, the magnets may not connect and seal the opening properly, which will increase the cost of heating and cooling your home.
Will a pet door compromise the security of our home?
PlexiDor comes equipped with a lock and 2 keys plus a steel security plate. You can lock the door from the inside whenever you like and attach the steel security plate when leaving your home for extended period. The interior and exterior frame of the PlexiDor is hardened aluminum. This adds strength to the entire design and makes it virtually impossible for an intruder to get past. The small PlexiDor unit for cats and small dogs up to 9 pounds does not come with a security plate since the opening is too small for an intruder to get through.
Is it difficult to train my pet to use a pet door?
No. It is usually a quick and easy process. Most cats and dogs learn to use a pet door in 5 seconds to 5 days. Do not push the pet through the door. Start with propping a panel open and coaxing the pet with a treat.
Can my cat use a dog door?
Yes, most cats will use up to a large PlexiDor. You may need to go up in size to keep the top of the pet door high enough for the dog – shoulder height – and the bottom low enough for the cat (approximately 5”).
Do you have a pet door that will let my dog out and keep the cats in?
The PlexiDor electronic pet door opens only for pets with a key. There is, however, no guarantee that a cat won’t run out together with the dog. Thus, we cannot promise that our pet door will let the dog out and keep the cats in.
Can I paint my PlexiDor?
Yes. Just prime and paint the pet door.
What kind of warranty does PlexiDor come with?
PlexiDor pet doors come with a 5 year warranty.
Will I ever need to replace anything on a PlexiDor pet door?
About every 5 to 8 years the industrial weather seal will need to be replaced. One kit will cover both saloon style panels, and it is easy to install. PlexiDor is manufactured in Bradenton, FL, and if you ever have a problem with the door, it is easy to obtain replacement parts.
Where can I install a PlexiDor pet door?
PlexiDor pet doors can be installed in doors, walls, or a sliding glass patio panel. Wall units can be installed in a wall up to 12 inches thick and come with an aluminum tunnel kit that connects the interior and exterior frame. Chances are if you already own another brand of pet door, the existing cut opening can be used to install a PlexiDor with only minor modification.

Transit time after shipment: please add 2-5 days for lighter and smaller items shipped via regular carrier (Fedex, UPS, USPS) and add 5-10 days for heavier items shipped via LTL freight truck. Transit time depends on distance from the point of origin. All of our items ship from inside the United States. Please note the times below are listed in business days.
Our policy for free shipping on orders over $499:
- Items from Lucky Kennels, TK Kennels and Little Cottage Co. do not qualify for free shipping (their items are much larger and heavier than typical orders); the shipping cost for items from these brands will be shown at check-out
- International orders (get in touch for a custom quote including shipping costs)
- Orders shipped outside the contiguous United States to Alaska, Hawaii or other territories (get in touch for a custom quote including shipping costs)
- Very large items or very large orders that must be shipped via Freight that are subject to price surges by freight companies; though these situations are rare, if this occurs we will notify you of any potential additional costs and give you the option to keep the order or receive a refund.

Item Availability
While we almost always have the most up-to-date inventory information, there are rare occasions in which an item may be unavailable or on back-order. If the item is unavailable, we'll let you know and give you the option of receiving a refund or ordering a similar item. If the item is on back-order, we will contact you directly and provide you with an updated shipment date. From there you may either choose to cancel the order or continue with the updated shipment date. Certain made-to-order items may have a longer than normal lead time. If this is the case, the lead time will be specified on this Shipping tab.

Delivery Estimates
For standard orders and for items in stock, we normally ship within 1 to 3 business days (as per the table above) and you can expect to receive your goods in 3 to 10 business days total. Fulfillment times vary widely if your order must be customized, made to order, is for large or heavy items, or must be shipped by LTL freight truck (as opposed to standard carriers such as Fedex or UPS). Please consult the "Shipping" tab for each specific product, where we list current lead times. Please note also that Covid-19 has severely impacted global supply chains and several of our manufacturers are experiencing extended lead times. Shipping Confirmation
We ship from warehouses all across the country, depending on the item(s) ordered and your location. Depending on the physical size of your order, items will ship either by freight or a regular parcel carrier such as USPS, Fed Ex, or UPS.
LTL FREIGHT SHIPPING INFORMATION
LTL (less-than-truckload) Freight is used when shipments are 120 lb+ or for oversized equipment, which results in a truck with a large container delivering your order. Our freight carrier will contact you once your order makes it to the distribution center closest to the delivery address specified, and set up an appointment time for delivery.
Pet Pro Supply Co. Free LTL Freight Shipping - Curbside Delivery
Our standard Free Freight Shipping option for LTL deliveries is curbside, which is to a delivery to a Commercial Address and does not include a liftgate. If your order is to be shipped freight, you will have the option to specify whether the item will be delivered to a Residential, Limited Access, or Commercial address. If there is no option to select a shipping location, then this cost is already included in the price.
We strongly recommend adding the optional Liftgate for all deliveries to locations without a loading dock or forklift.
Freight Delivery Locations
This option specifies whether the delivery location is a Commercial, Residential, Residential Business, or a Limited Access address.
- Commercial - These addresses are those defined by our freight carriers and/or zoned by local municipalities as commercial sites. Typically these addresses are zoned as commercial real estate or are used exclusively for business. Most commercial sites have tractor-trailer access and a loading dock.
- Residential - If the address used a residence, select this option. This includes Apartment/Condo complexes and dormitories.
- Residential Business - Any business being operated from a home, apartment, or other dwelling where people live on the premises is considered to be a Residential Business.
- Limited Access - Locations where deliveries are restricted, limited, or very far from a distribution center. Examples include:
- Place of Worship
- Restricted Areas - Secure Research Facilities, Military Bases/Installations, Correctional Facilities, Government Buildings
- Farms, Ranches, and Rural Areas
- Recreational Areas - Camps, Parks, Fairs, Carnivals, etc.
- Individual Storage Units
- Sites - Convention Centers, Construction Sites, Mines
- Schools and Universities
- Commercial establishments not open to the walk-in public during normal business hours

Freight Liftgate
A liftgate is a hydraulic lift that is attached to the back of a truck that can lower freight to ground level. Freight carriers prevent their drivers from assisting with the unloading of heavy equipment other than using a liftgate to ground level.
We highly recommend any delivery address without a loading dock, select this option.
However, please know that for certain very long items, such as kennels over 6' in length, a Liftgate will not be able to bring the entire order down to ground level. Please have the necessary manpower available to receive your items with limited delay to the driver.
